We took a late July paddle down the Rum River. Lovely, easy paddle with great sandbars for picnics and swimming. We saw a huge trumpeter swan, eagles and tons of turtles. John was very easy to work with, on time and friendly. He paddled with us for a short part of the trip and showed us some new techniques. His kayaks seemed near new and in top condition. Very fun!

The Rum River is beautiful, and this section is fun and easy to paddle. You can also stop to picnic and swim. I always see lots of wildlife, even paddled past a trumpeter swan. Highly recommend taking this trip!

Our group of 5 had a wonderful July 4 trip on the Rum River. All the kayaks, paddles, and life jackets were in fine condition. John met us at the agreed time at the put-in location and was there, cheerfully waiting for us, at the put-out. Would definitely use TCK again. Highly recommended.
